What is your unique gift? – Do you believe in it enough to invest everything you have in it?
My Unique Gift is Innovative and Dynamic Leadership. I believe I am constantly thinking of ways to do a task in a efficient manner and coming up with ideas that will essentially “change the game”. When I am in a Leadership Role I will do almost anything to see my team succeed. I loving encouraging people and seeing people flourish to their highest potential. I will invest all of my efforts into my team and will always strive to be someone they can look up to and come to in a time of need.
What difference are you trying to make in the world? – How passionate are you about doing this?
I am trying to influence the world through good and effective leadership, I am hoping to shape entrepreneurs into people that will one day make a difference. I am very passionate about this, I am always striving day-to-day to always make decisions that Influence others.
How do you define success for yourself? – What challenges do you face in order to create success?
Success for me is honestly seeing my efforts and achievements shine through others. I will alway aim be to be that inspiration. In order to be a great leader you must live up to the expectations you set for others. Sometimes as a Leader you are late or unprepared, in these moments trust is lost within your team. You must strive to ALWAYS set the example!, If there is a lack of determination, your team will disappoint you. Always being the example can sometimes be hard, but working this this creates a stronger team.
What is career vision and a mission?
These are what you essentially live by in your field of work. The vision is what you want to see happen and your mission is how you want to do it.
Can you innovate and creates value and successfully communicate that value to intended audiences?
Yes, I am very straightforward and to the point, I believe my audience always understand what I want to get out of something.
Do you have a positive attitude?
90% of the time I have a positive attitude. I almost always see the brightside; I believe the future lies in your attitude you have towards today. If you have a negative attitude you will almost always have negative results.
Have you set your goals? What is your road map to success? Can you set inspiring and realistic goals?
Yes, I have set goals. These include graduating college, having a job at a recording studio, producing a well known album, and one day owning my own recording studio. My map to success is staying positive in whatever position I am in, always giving 110% in whatever it is I am doing, and looking to the bright side. Yes, I can set Inspiring and realistic goals, the key is to always start small and eventually this will lead to bigger things.
Do you have and/or acquire the necessary expertise to actualize your vision?
Not yet, I am still learning recording techniques and the “Ins and Outs” of Studio Management. I believe I can acquire this through school and experience in the Industry.
What are your priorities? Can you set priorities?
My main priority is to finish School and hopefully get an Internship that will eventually turn into a Full-Time Job. Yes, I have had various priorities in the past that have lead me to where I am today.
What opportunities are you looking for? What opportunities are you creating or intend to create?
I am looking for opportunities in the Music Tech Field, These included internships within a recording studio. In the future I intend to create opportunities for musicians to create music within my studio, whether that is being the Artist or the sound engineer recording the Artist.
How comfortable are you with uncertainty? What risks are you willing to take?
I am very comfortable with uncertainty, I am willing to take risk financially, through employment and Physically. I am willing to spend the money where it needs to spent. I am willing to take chances with my employees and push them through encouragement. I am willing to move locations and go wherever the best place is to be for my business.
When facing challenges, do you persevere or do you walk away?
I persevere, It is not like me to quit. One of the hardest things I have done is that I have ran a marathon. I wanted to quit and although that would’ve been the easy thing to do; the reward is worth the pain. What experience have you learned the most from?
I have quite a few experience I have learned alot from, It’s hard to pinpoint one. I learned alot from quitting my job in 2017, for awhile I believed that quitting was a sign of weakness. I was loyal to this company and my co-worker, and at one point I was being taken advantage of. I thought if I quit I would be looked at as a “quitter”. But I learned that sometimes walking away is one of the bravest and couragous thing someone can do.
What actions are you taking to realize your vision? Are you consistently taking action?
With having the goal of one day owning a recording studio, I thought that it would be a good Idea to get involved with the student-ran record label, I am now the Label’s President. Almost every day, I am thinking of ways we can improve as a label, I stay in contact with our artist, and I am always finding ways I can distribute the work between our Label Members.
How well do you put things in context? Are you able to easily respond to changes in your environment? What’s your best example?
I believe my understanding of my position can sometimes be faded. When I quit my job in 2017 it was hard to understand why that happened and why people treated me the way they treated me. But I am slowly learning to be more adaptable to change and be more open to change.
What is your plan to continually grow and evolve? How have you grown or evolved in there past year or three?
My plan is to continually be learning and researching. I have grown a lot in these past three years, I used to be very anxious in positions of leadership. I used to be worried that I wasn’t doing something right or if I made a wrong move everything would fall apart. I have gained so much confidence in myself, I have learned how to be a better networker and overall a better communicator between the things I am apart of.
How easy is it for you to reach out to others to ask for support and to offer help?
Reaching out for help is something that I am getting better about. I used to be very stubborn about this, before I wanted to figure everything out on my own and I didnt want help from anyone. But I am learning, the record label has help alot with this. I had to accept the fact that this is something that can’t all be done by myself, I have to had to ask for help for different task and learn how to put my trust in others.
How are you inspiring others to join and/or support your mission in order to create a financially sustainable enterprise that allows you to live your gift and contribute something valuable to society? – If you aren’t currently, how do you intend to?
I am inspiring others by always sharing my ideas. I am always creating content that is good quality and I am always taking courageous acts in my position of leadership. I intend to always put “my all” into whatever it is I am doing and I am always will to take risk through my actions. I intend to inspire my community by producing music that is relatable, inspiring and encouraging,
