What is your unique gift? – Do you believe in it enough to invest everything you have in it?

My unique gift is my perspective on the world. I am studying a diverse number of subject across my degrees at JU and I was raised in troubling circumstances. I think my ability to both identify with people and share a unique perspective makes me unique.

What difference are you trying to make in the world? – How passionate are you about doing this?

I would like to continue my education and become a lobbyist for women’s, immigrant, and LGBTQ rights. I Identify very strongly with these issues and feel very passionately about improving the country’s policies concerning these groups.

How do you define success for yourself? – What challenges do you face in order to create success?

I would define success as helping to make changes that better someone’s life. My main challenge towards reaching that goal at the moment? Grad school.

Can you innovate and creates value and successfully communicate that value to intended audiences?

I think that one of my strongest abilities ids being able to communicate well, diplomatically, and in a way that sheds appropriate light on my point of view.

Do you have a positive attitude?

I try to be positive but i am a bit of a cynic.

Have you set your goals? What is your road map to success? Can you set inspiring and realistic goals?

I set my short term goals based on what i believe i can achieve within the next six months. I believe that realistic planning is the key to success.

Do you have and/or acquire the necessary expertise to actualize your vision?

I will need to go to a few more years of school first.

What are your priorities? Can you set priorities?

My priorities at the moment are my mental health and graduating on time.

What opportunities are you looking for? What opportunities are you creating or intend to create?

I am looking for opportunities that allow me to make meaningful connections, network, and help others.

How comfortable are you with uncertainty? What risks are you willing to take?

I don’t love uncertainty but i am willing to be uncomfortable and uncertain for a while as i move into a new chapter of my life.

When facing challenges, do you persevere or do you walk away?

I persevere. I do what I set my mind to.

What experiences have you learned the most from?

Situations that are beyond what i think i can do that i conquer anyway.

What actions are you taking to realize your vision? Are you consistently taking action?

Continually doing research and studying.

How well do you put things in context? Are you able to easily respond to changes in your environment? What’s your best example?

The best example is probably realizing what i really wanted to do halfway through a very time consuming degree, adding a second major and operating at 20 credit hours a semester for two years so that i could stay on track.

What is your plan to continually grow and evolve? How have you grown or evolved in there past year or three?

I would like to continue reading and learning to expand my horizens.

How easy is it for you to reach out to others to ask for support and to offer help?

Getting easier the more i do it.
