Gatbsy party at The Fountain of Youth, St. Augustine
Recently, I had the fortune of playing an event with the Let’s Ride Brass Band at the Fountain of Youth in St. Augustine, Florida. During the course of the event, I was able to meet and network with two different individuals who were interested in what I had to offer and had opportunities to share with me. The first individual was Jim Laquidara who is a music supervisor at Audio Motion Music, Inc. He works in Licensing and clearance for composed music for Film, TV, video games, and web-based industries. He was interested in connecting me and our band with producers he has worked closely with in order to publish our originals. We exchanged cards and information and I will be following up with him shortly to see what this opportunity entails. Another individual I had the pleasure of meeting goes by the name of Andre “Pocket.” Andre is a drummer and producer native of Florida who plays with various groups around Jacksonville and is a music producer. We also exchanged contact information and will be looking forward to opportunities to work together in the future.
